High Intensity Ceramic Infrared Heaters

Modine’s high intensity ceramic infrared heater is approved for indoor unvented installation. It does not utilize a fan, thus eliminating noise and draft distractions. Gas and power connections are simple and maintenance is inexpensive, since there are no moving parts to maintain. Available controls include Direct Spark Ignition, Self-Generating Millivolt, and Intermittent Pilot (non-100% shut-off).

Modine’s MHR series heaters include the following features:

  1. Rugged aluminized steel frame
  2. High temperature diamond-faced ceramic tiles provide maximum heat transfer
  3. Polished aluminum reflector efficiently directs infrared rays to desired area
  4. Corrosion resistant type 330 stainless steel screen re-radiates infrared rays back to ceramic tile for increased heat transfer, and protects ceramic tile from foreign objects
  5. MADE IN THE USA

The New Face Of Powers Showers

Powers has put a new face on its two most popular HydroGuard® bath and shower valves. The new e420 combination T/P and PB410 pressure balancing series valves now feature contemporary trim with stylized metal face plates and ADA-compliant metal handles. More importantly, each series now incorporates integrated checkstops to prevent the occurrence of cross flow in the event of unequal water pressures. Trim design is further enhanced by the absence of exposed screws making the new series better suited for hotels, multi-family dwellings, hospitals and assisted living facilities. Both series are ASSE 1016 listed and CSA certified and will be incorporated into HydroPanels as well.

T/P Total Protection: Temperature and Pressure
  • Rugged brass construction suited for the most demanding installation
  • Provides true protection against pressure and temperature changes
  • Eliminates time and cost for seasonal limit stop adjustments
  • Won’t stick or seize due to harsh water conditions
  • Self-contained cartridge installs in minutes to simplify repairs
  • ASSE 1016 Type T/P listed and CSA B125 certified
Heavy Duty Pressure Balancing Protection
  • Proven reliable diaphragm-and-poppet cartridge design won’t stick, seize or corrode due to harsh water conditions
  • Rugged commercial grade four-port bronze casting with brass bonnet and metal-to-metal, temperature limit stop
  • Integral check stops for easy access and maintenance
  • Compact design fits into as little as 2" wall depth
  • Back-to-back installation without costly cross-over piping
  • ASSE 1016 listed and CSA B125 certified

A Great Way To Clean Up Your Crawl Space

Viper CS, from Insulation Solutions, is a great way to clean up your crawl space!

Traditional dirt crawl spaces are full of moisture that enters via evaporation and diffusion through the floor and sidewalls. An important part of a crawl space moisture control strategy is the installation of a vapor barrier. A vapor barrier provides the crawl space with a moisture and soil gas protection layer that decreases the amount of moisture and radon present in the crawl space.

This greatly reduces the risk for:
  1. Mold/Mildew
  2. Wood Rot
  3. Floor Failure
  4. Decreased R-Value
  5. Increased Heating Bills
  6. Odor
  7. Poor Air Quality
Viper CS is a "Class A" vapor barrier with excellent physical characteristics, including high puncture resistance, high tensile strength and low water vapor permeance. It will prevent ground moisture from entering the crawl space when installed on the walls and floor, greatly reducing the negative effects of a moisture laden crawl space.
