Pit+Plus Premium Simplex Systems

New Switch! Introducing the new Little Giant ECM™ for added reliability. The ECM™ (External Control Module) uses a ‘bell’ inside the basin to monitor liquid level for operation of a switch outside the basin (in the cover) and isolated from liquid. This reduces any chance of water intrusion, which can result in switch failure. No moving switch parts inside the basin eliminates failure from ‘hang-ups’.

  • Molded inlet hub
  • Molded anti-torque stops
  • 360° molded handle
  • Integrated anti-flotation collar
  • Stainless steel fasteners
  • Optional alarm versions

The New Taco 007e ECM High Efficiency Circulator

No Programming Required!

Introducing the newest ECM circulator from Taco, the 007e. The Taco 007e is a high-efficiency wet rotor circulator with an ECM permanent magnet motor. The 007e is everything you love about the 007. It is ideal for hydronic systems zoned with circulators or zone valves. The 007e delivers the performance equivalent of the 007 plus the reliability and easy installation that made the 00® famous. Install it, forget it.

  • ECM performance equivalent to the legendary 007 circulator
  • High-efficiency ECM motor uses up to 85% less electricity
  • LED indicators
  • Dual electrical knockouts
  • 6" stranded wire leads for easy wiring
  • Ideal for hydronic systems zoned with circulators or zone valves
  • BIO Barrier® protects pump from system contaminants
  • SureStart automatically frees locked rotor condition and self-purges air from pump
  • Integral Flow Check (IFC®) included

Energy Saving: 007 vs 007e

007 007e
80 Watts 25 Watts (average)
2,500 hrs/season 2,500 hrs/season
200,000 watts (200kw) 62,500 watts (62.5kw)
200 x $0.12/kw = $24/year 62.6 x $0.12/kw = $7.50/year

The 007e has a potential average electrical savings of $16-$18 per year!

P-Series Variable Frequency Drive by Franklin Controls

Variable Speed Control is Just the Beginning; Everyone knows variable frequency drives save you money by varying motor speed to match demand. Franklin Controls automatic energy savings mode minimizes losses by optimizing the output power for higher efficiency. Under low load conditions, Sleep Mode deactivates the drive and its output – then awakens and reactivates output when demand rises to unlock additional savings. It also extends the life of the equipment.

  • New Firmware makes setup a snap
  • Application based commissioning allows parameters to be automatically set based on industry standards
  • Applications: Basic, circulating pump, supply fan, exhaust fan or cooling tower
  • Selectable units include PSI, °F, °C, inWC, inM, Bar, mBar, Pa, kPa Belt loss protection
  • Space Vector control for efficiency and long motor life
  • Cleaner sine wave as compared to typical V/Hz control.
  • Motors run cooler and last longer
  • Advanced PID control (Pre-PID and Dual PID)
  • Maintain a constant control of pressure, flow or water level. This function includes Pre-PID, Sleep and Wake up and output inverse sub-functions
  • Increased energy savings by deactivating drive during low demand
  • Flying start protection Prevents trips, rough starts, and drive damage from regenerative power from heavy fan inertia rotation
