Did you know an indirect water heater is one of the most cost effective ways to heat water? It eliminates the tremendous flue losses associated with gas-fired storage water heaters without the hassles and extra costs of tankless gas water heaters. When used with a modern, high-efficiency boiler these energy savings hold true even in the summer when your boiler isn't needed for heat!
The SuperStor Ultra is a high performance indirect water heater that can generate over 50% more hot water than many water heaters of a similar size. It has minimal heat loss, thanks to a 2" thick environmentally safe water blown foam insulation.
In the video below, Richard Trethewey, from Ask This Old House, explains the benefits of upgrading a tankless coil boiler to an indirect fired water heater. This projects features a SuperStor Ultra indirect water heater from HTP and a 007e circulator high efficiency circulator from Taco Comfort Solutions.

Breweries Are Choosing Aquatherm PP-R
Industry standard piping systems may not present problems today, but down the line they could corrode, leak, and have negative effects on your product.
Aquatherm polypropylenerandom (PP-R) piping systems are crafted for use with potable water, compressed air, product transfer, heating, cooling, and more – a serious upgrade for a variety of brewery needs.
Ideal for new builds, expansions, or system upgrades, Aquatherm PP-R piping systems are one of the longest-lasting and most chemically inert piping materials available.
- Approved for potable water and food contact
- Virtually leak free
- No effect on taste and smell of products
- Safe for use in almost any part of a system
- No corrosion from or reaction with water, glycol, or oils
- Non-toxic, non-leaching, and fully recyclable
- Directly contributes to LEED v4 points

SuperStor Pro Pool Heater
The SuperStor Pro Pool from HTP is a stainless steel water heater that draws energy from a boiler to maintain a desired pool temperature. The hot boiler water flows through an internal heat exchanger in the tank, heating the pool water. The boiler must have an adequate BTU capacity and a circulator to transfer the BTUs to the pool heater. An optional control is available to monitor the pool water temperature.
The SuperStor Pro Pool water heater is made with 316L stainless steel tank construction to resist corrosion and last longer. It also eliminates the need for anode rods. Traditional coated tanks require anode rods to delay inevitable corrosion and tank failure. The SuperStor Pro Pool stainless steel will outlast any coated steel tank in the market. With 316L stainless steel construction, maintenance costs are virtually non-existent.
The SuperStor Pro Pool has thick water blown foam insulation allowing for minimal heat loss and low standby losses. The SuperStor Pro Pool can be linked to a boiler using either a zone valve or a circulated pump. The boiler used in conjunction with the pool heater must be appropriately sized to handle to pool volume.
