From the moment Keen Home introduced the Smart Vent System on Shark Tank in early 2015, integration with ecobee’s smart thermostat has consistently ranked as one of the most frequently requested new features. After months of hard work and testing, we are pleased to announce, Keen Home Smart Vents are officially compatible with ecobee3 and ecobee lite smart thermostats and ecobee room sensors! While we previously could only report on air temperature, ecobee’s room sensors give your Smart Vent System another data point from which to determine and act on temperature discrepancies between rooms. Best of all, we have learned a ton about working with room sensors and have started work on our own.
3. Have multiple ecobee3’s in your home? Now you can pair them all with your Smart Vent System to support multiple zones. There is no limit to the number of thermostats that can be added, and with room sensors in place, you will have a comprehensive view of the climate in your home.

New Little Giant Inline Pump Controls

Franklin Electric is excited to announce the launch of the much-anticipated Inline Controls! The new Inline Controls include five pump starting and control devices that pair with a variety of submersible or surface pumps to provide or boost the system’s overall water pressure – and in many cases, without the need of an additional bladder tank. Depending on application requirements and the selected model, this product family offers various forms of system protection. They also offer two unique features that ensure the system remains functional and hassle free, including: a daily motor rotation start designed to energize the motor at least once every 24 hours (to prevent system locking), and a unique automatic restart feature eliminating the need to manually restart the pump in the case of an unexpected trip or fault.
