Taco SmartPlug - Instant Hot Water Control
Taco's new SmartPlug™ will optimize hot water system efficiency and reduce electrical consumption up to 94% while saving 12,000 gallons of water per year.
The device adds intelligence to standard on/off hot water recirculation (HWR) pumps. Rather than plugging the standard HWR into the wall, plug it into the SmartPlug for improved, house/family-specific function.
In the "Smart" mode, the SmartPlug monitors and records weekly household hot water use patterns and adjusts HWR cycles accordingly. That way, hot water is provided quickly at all fixtures, only when needed.
The device offers an optional "Pulse" mode. In this setting, the circulator will cycle on and off to maintain hot water at all fixtures. No more waiting, no more wasting energy and water.
Users get even greater efficiency with the SmartPlug system. After 36 hours of inactivity, the device automatically turns off the pump until a need for hot water is detected; in this mode, it also cycles on once every seven days for 10 seconds to prevent corrosion or scale buildup.
SmartPlug can be used with any Taco domestic water 00® circulator with a 110 Volt line cord. No programming is required.

Watts Radiant Onix Tubing
What makes Onix™ perfect for radiant heat and snow melting applications? Cross-linked Durel EPDM is extruded into a tube then wrapped with an AlumaShield barrier and a second layer of Durel EPDM. This composite tube is reinforced with 1000 denier aramid cord, the same incredibly tough and heat resistant material used to make fire- and bulletproof shields. A third and final outer jacket of EPDM is applied. The result is a durable, flexible tubing formed of five heat and age resistant materials, proven in tens of thousands of installations over the years.
One of the best features of our Onix tubing is its aluminum barrier layer, AlumaShield™. Unlike plastic barriers, AlumaShield is unaffected by sunlight, UV radiation from fluorescent lamps, moisture, or elevated temperatures. Due to its placement inside the tube, the AlumaShield barrier can't be scraped off or damaged by typical job site abuse.
Onix is the product that can be installed with lifelong confidence in blazing heat and sunlight, or in Arctic frost and shadows. Used for commercial snow melting, space heating, residential staple-up and supply/return lines, you'll find Onix installed in thousands of quality projects every year.
Features
- Can stand up to normal job site conditions
- No special tools required
- Tighter bend radius allows for entry into hard to reach areas
- Can't be kinked
- Temperature range from 180°F to -30°F
- Resistant to UV degradation whether outside for a day or a year

Maximize Your Systems Potential With Silent Fin Heating Edge
Condensing boilers, Ground Source Heat Pumps and Solar Thermal Collectors are all great ways to save energy and reduce fossil fuel usage. All three achieve their highest efficiency when delivering low temperature water but generally have higher upfront costs than their less efficient counterparts. While each technology has inherent features and benefits, each is also judged on its ability to provide a return on investment. Whether for commercial or residential use, it is imperative that careful attention be paid to the application of the equipment and the distribution system being utilized by these technologies.
The challenge faced when it comes to heating effectively with traditional baseboard is that supply water temperatures need to be at least 140˚F in order to deliver enough BTUH’s to sufficiently heat a space at design temperature. Not so with the Smith's Silent Fin Heating Edge High Capacity Coil Block. Due to its unique embossed fin design, it is able to deliver comparable BTUH’s using 100˚ - 120˚F supply water, all in an attractive package.
Silent Fin Heating Edge, by Smith's Environmental Products, allows these technologies to perform to their optimum efficiency and provide their respective returns on the initial investment. In other words, Heating Edge helps to make that ROI possible.

What Is A Heat Recovery Ventilator?
A Heat Recover Ventilator (HRV) is integrated into the duct work in a home, usually located near the furnace. The HRV expels stale indoor air to the outside, and draws in fresh air from outside to be distributed throughout the home.
The air streams pass on either side of Lifebreath’s exclusive and patented aluminum core, never mixing. In the summer, the HRV works in reverse. Warm air is expelled and cool air is delivered throughout the home.

- Warm stale air from your home is drawn into the HRV.
- Heat from the indoor air is transferred via the unit's aluminum core to the fresh air stream.
- Stale air is expelled outside, leaving its warmth behind in the HRV's aluminum core.
- Cool fresh air is drawn into the HRV, and warmed by the heated aluminum core.
- Your entire home is filled with warm, clean, fresh air.

Flexcon WWT Well Tanks: Quality and Performance Guaranteed
The WWT Series of diaphragm well tanks from Flexcon Industries are designed to give the features you need and the quality you want. Engineered specifically with the contractor in mind, WWT tanks incorporate Flexcon’s famous double diaphragm concept. Two halves of a FDA/NSF approved 100% butyl rubber diaphragm are held together with a steel clench ring. They are affixed to the bottom of the tank with a stainless steel water connection and finished with a steel elbow. This creates a water chamber that is completely isolated from the steel walls of the tank and ensures that the water that goes in is the same as the water that comes out.
The tanks are manufactured with cold rolled steel and finished with primer and high gloss quality paint. Clean air tight welds are achieved using the most modern welding equipment available. A trim strip on the bottom of the skirt helps prevent damage during installation. Each tank undergoes a rigid quality inspection process that includes high pressure testing, seam weld tests and our famous helium test. The final air charge check before packaging ensures that every tank arrives on the job site with the specified aircharge.
WWT tanks are available from 14 gallons to 119 gallons and are backed up with a five-year warranty. We have the tank you need for every job and the name to stand behind it

New & Improved Smith's Quick Fit Hose Kit
The Quick Fit Hose Kit from Smith’s is an accessory for the Quite-One kickspace heater that reduces the time and effort required for installation. Whether adapting to finished cabinets or other hard to reach places, the hose kit and fittings provide the installer with flexibility that simplifies the installation and reduces the potential of damage to surrounding surfaces. The Quiet-One kickspace unit installs easier as all tube connections can be made before the installer slides the Quiet-One into its final resting place under the cabinet.
In the unlikely event that the unit needs to be serviced or checked, the installer can now pull the kickspace out into the middle of the floor rather than climb into the cabinet. For the contractor it saves time and money. For the homeowner, it eliminates the removal of cabinets or sawing the cabinet base.

Watts Residential Fire Protection
Watts Residential Fire Protection Products are easy to install, flexible in design, UL 1821 listed, and meet National Fire Protection Association requirements for fire suppression (NFPA 13D) when designed and installed by professionals who are licensed/certified for residential fire protection.
The Right Choice for Builders
Watts Residential Fire Protection Products bring the Watts technologies you already know and trust into the world of fire protection, providing time and cost savings, a single point of purchase, and confidence in a brand you’ve come to rely on.
The Right Choice for the Community
Many of today’s cash-strapped communities recognize not only the safety benefits of fire sprinklers, but the cost-savings that comes from the conservation of precious emergency-response resources. Cities and states across the U.S. are passing legislation and ordinances requiring mandatory fire sprinklers in new home construction, and often providing contractors with significant incentives to install them.
The Right Choice for Homeowners
Fire Sprinklers can minimize the impact of fire on homeowner property—confining fire damage in many cases. However, the most compelling argument for sprinklers comes at 2am, in the knowledge that a family asleep in their beds is even just a little safer because Watts Residential Fire Protection Products have been installed in their home.

Aquatherm Pipe Heat Fusion
Simply put, heat fusion combines two parts into one.
When heated, Aquatherm's PP-R thermoplastic material changes to a "melt" state where two pieces can be easily joined together. As the PP-R molecules cool, they bind with each other and turn into one piece, the way they would during extrusion or molding. The fused material has the same strength as the pipe wall, so there is no path for leaks or blowouts.
The heat fusion process takes JUST A FEW SECONDS TO MAKE A CONNECTION in smaller diameters and only minutes for larger sizes.
Heat fusion requires a direct-contact heat source for fast, consistent results. There are many different styles of contact heat fusion, including socket fusion, outlet fusion, and butt welding. The heat for fusion can also come from an embedded electrical coil, like the kind used for electrofusion.
However it's done, good heat fusion connections will outlast the piping system, reduce maintenance costs, conserve water, and prevent damage to surrounding building parts. There is no better way to join pipes and fittings together.

Preventing Limescale
What causes limescale deposition?
Minerals in chalk or limestone rock collect as water permeates through the ground and collects in aquifers. These minerals remain within the water and are carried into the domestic water supply. They inevitably reach central heating and water systems, where they build up over time and cause blockages in pipework, efficiency losses and the premature failure of components. These problems can arise in both the primary water system (the central heating system) and secondary (household hot water) system.
The mineral deposits, collectively known as limescale, consist primarily of calcium and magnesium carbonates which are generally insoluble. Limescale occurs when these are deposited by heating water that contains soluble bicarbonate salts (which are thermally unstable and break down to form carbonates).
There are several factors that contribute to the build-up of limescale, including:
What should be done?
Prevention is always better than cure. In central heating systems, the addition of any Fernox Protector F1 will prevent deposition of limescale.
For domestic hot water systems, Fernox offers a range of scale reducers designed to provide either whole house or single appliance protection.

Lifebreath's "Core" Difference
Lifebreath’s core set our products apart from the competition. Our core is built upon a foundation formed by our six sides of performance philosophy. On their own, each side offers value to the consumer. But working together, they combine to create a product that’s at the cutting edge of the industry, offering durability, quality, and efficiency to every Lifebreath unit.
Environmental Responsibility
The Lifebreath core is comprised of aluminum plates. Not only are these environmentally friendly, but they’re also non-toxic and do not emit gas like other materials. On its own, the durability and long-life of these cores would be environmentally beneficial, but that environmental stewardship is augmented by the fact that the finished core itself is completely recyclable at the end of its life cycle – as is all material used during the manufacturing process.
Maximum Heat Transfer
Our patented counter cross flow design guarantees a maximum displacement of energy throughout the heat recovery core. This allows for the maximum possible heat transfer.
Lifetime Warranty
The high-quality construction of this non-moving part ensures a lifetime of performance and peace of mind, which is backed by our commitment to you.
Ease of Maintenance
An advanced, service-friendly design features easy-access doors and smooth cell rails, which allow for the core to be slid out and washed with minimal effort. It also features reasonable plate separation to ensure that dirt and debris is efficiently removed from between the washable plates.
Maximum Airflow Design
The most efficient core in today’s market features the perfect balance of heat recovery and airflow. This model of efficiency was designed using computer-generated fluid dynamics to determine the optimal pattern of the plate surfaces and spacing.
Durability in All Climates
In addition to being a strong conductor of energy, aluminum is much more durable than conventional materials found in competitive products. You can have complete confidence in the durability and performance of the unit – regardless of the climate in which it’s installed.

Barrier Free Drains
Installing a shower drain without a curb, barrier, or threshold creates a seamless look with easy accessibility to the wet area. To achieve an ideal installation, floor heights should be equal between the shower area (wet area), outside the shower (dry area), and next room. Specific conditions will determine what is involved.
The FF and FT offer the lowest overall heights with the use of liquid applied or fabric sheet waterproofing membranes. In addition, we offer a product (ST 65) to allow the linear channel channel to recess into the subfloor. When there is no wall or glass enclosure the dry side of the shower should have a slight pitch towards the linear system to ensure proper drainage.
When traditional membranes such as PVC Liners, Rubber Liners, Hot Mops, Copper Pans, Lead Pans, or Fiberglass need to used our Site Sizable or FX models can be used. With these types of installations it is advised that the subfloor be recessed below the dry area of the bathroom, or the membrane should be installed into the dry area and sloped to the central clamp down drain body.
Infinity Drain recommends working with a licensed professional who is familiar with local codes and installation requirements.
